Food Services
ASD provides breakfast and lunch to all of its residents. ASD is uniquely qualified to provide this service because of the expertise of its Food Service Staff. A total of ninety-three (93) years of food service experience makes up ASD’s Food Service Staff. Because of the accumulated years and variety of experience of its Food Service Staff, ASD is able to meet the demands of changing client demographics and bring a rich diversity in culture and the ability to provide ethnic variety in the meals being prepared for residents. All kitchen staff have their Food Handler Training Certification (ANSI accredited) and Head Chef/Kitchen Supervisor has his Professional Food Manager Certification.

Volunteer groups from all over North Texas provide residents with nutritional and social support from more than 1,000 culturally diverse and caring individuals.
